Taksirat Festival in Skopje
Taksirat Festival, established in 1999, is the only winter music festival in Southeast Europe and the region's largest indoor festival. Staged across multiple stages at Arena Boris Trajkovski in Skopje over roughly a week each year, typically late November to early December, it focuses on alternative rock, pop, punk, electronic, reggae and ska, and has hosted acts including Manu Chao, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Buzzcocks and Kaiser Chiefs.
Taksirat Festival was established in 1999 and has built its identity around two distinguishing claims: it is the only winter music festival in Southeast Europe, and it is the largest indoor festival in the region.
