Saipan Marathon in Saipan

The Saipan Marathon is an internationally certified road race first held in 2006, now run each March starting and finishing at the Crowne Plaza Resort in Garapan, Saipan. Offering full marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K distances on an out-and-back course, the race is certified by World Athletics in cooperation with the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races.

Since its founding in 2006, the Saipan Marathon has grown from a modest local race into one of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands' most anticipated annual sporting events, drawing runners, families and supporters each March who often extend their stay to explore the islands beyond race weekend.
