Midgardsblot is an extreme metal and folk music festival held each August at the Midgard Viking Centre in Borre, on the site of the largest Viking-era burial mound complex in northern Europe. Founded in 2015, it pairs concerts with archaeology lectures, Viking reenactment, and a ceremonial opening ritual.

Borre, on the Oslofjord in southern Norway, holds the largest concentration of Viking Age burial mounds anywhere in northern Europe, a landscape shaped by centuries of ship burials and royal memorials.
