Bukta Festival in Tromso
Bukta Tromso Open Air Festival is a rock-leaning open-air music festival staged every July on the beach at Telegrafbukta in Tromso, under the Arctic midnight sun. Founded in 2004 out of the volunteer-run North of Nowhere gatherings, it has grown from roughly 5,000 attendees at its first edition to sold-out crowds of 20,000-plus, with multiple stages, local seafood and beer, and a family-friendly free Saturday morning concert.
Bukta Tromso Open Air Festival traces its roots to North of Nowhere, a volunteer-run festival staged in a field near Asgard, Tromso, in 2002 and 2003.
