Tour of Oman in Multiple stages
The Tour of Oman is a multi-day professional cycling stage race held each February, typically comprising six stages covering flat, hilly, and mountain terrain across the Sultanate. Its decisive queen stage traditionally finishes on Jebel Akhdar (the Green Mountain), drawing top international UCI teams to race through Oman's varied desert and mountain landscape.
The Tour of Oman was established in the early 2010s as part of a broader push by Gulf states to host prestige international sporting events, following a similar model to races like the Tour of Qatar and the UAE's cycling events.
