Malam Jabba Snow Festival in Malam Jabba
The Malam Jabba Snow Festival is a two-day winter event, also promoted as the Swat Snow Festival, held at Pakistan's only developed ski resort in Swat, combining skiing and snowboarding competitions with Pashto cultural performances and family-friendly snow activities each January or February at around 8,500 feet elevation.
Malam Jabba's chairlift and ski slope, built with South Korean assistance in the 1990s and rebuilt after being damaged during the years of militancy in Swat, remain the only developed civil ski infrastructure anywhere in Pakistan.
