Pisac Raymi in Pisac
Pisac Raymi is a cultural festival held in the Sacred Valley town of Pisac, celebrating Inca agricultural and ceremonial heritage through dance, reenactment and community festivity against the backdrop of the town's Inca terraces.
Pisac, a Sacred Valley town roughly an hour from Cusco, is known to most visitors for two things standing side by side: a hillside archaeological complex of Inca agricultural terraces, ceremonial platforms and residential structures overlooking the valley, and, in the town below, one of Peru's most famous artisan markets, where textiles, ceramics and jewelry from across the region are sold daily.
