Bieg Piastow in Jakuszyce/Szklarska Poreba
Bieg Piastow, founded in 1976 near Szklarska Poreba, is one of Europe's largest cross-country ski races, expanded since 2014 into a nine-day skiing festival on the Jakuszyce meadow and part of the international Worldloppet racing series since 2008 to the present day and every winter beyond.
Polana Jakuszycka, a mountain meadow near Szklarska Poreba in Poland's Karkonosze range, hosts a race that has grown, since its founding in 1976, into one of the largest cross-country ski events in Europe.
