Cross Culture Festival Warsaw in Warsaw
Cross Culture Festival Warsaw, known in Polish as Skrzyzowanie Kultur, is a world music and multicultural festival held every September in Warsaw since 2005, mixing free concerts, workshops, and panel discussions on global musical traditions. Running across several days each September, it fills a central Warsaw venue with performers, workshop leaders, and panelists representing dozens of distinct musical traditions.
Cross Culture Festival Warsaw, whose official Polish name is Festiwal Skrzyzowanie Kultur, began in 2005 as an initiative of the City of Warsaw, funded through municipal culture budgets rather than ticket revenue alone, with a specific mission to present musical and cultural phenomena from across the world to Warsaw audiences.
