O Sol da Caparica in Costa da Caparica/Almada
O Sol da Caparica is a four-day Lusophone music festival created in 2014 by Almada City Council, held each mid-August in the urban park of Costa da Caparica and billed as the biggest annual festival dedicated to Portuguese-language music held in Portugal, spanning fado, hip-hop, sertanejo, and rock across four stages.
Costa da Caparica's urban park, just across the Tagus from Lisbon, has hosted one of Portugal's largest Portuguese-language music festivals since Almada City Council created O Sol da Caparica in 2014.
