MEO Sudoeste in Zambujeira do Mar

MEO Sudoeste is a multi-day camping music festival held each August at the Herdade da Casa Branca near Zambujeira do Mar, on the Alentejo Atlantic coast. Running since the late 1990s under a succession of sponsor names, from Festival Sudoeste to TMN Sudoeste to its current MEO branding, it is organized by the promoter Música no Coração and draws large numbers of campers for its beach-adjacent, multi-stage format.

Eleven days before its first edition launched, organizers settled on the Herdade da Casa Branca, a rural estate near Zambujeira do Mar on the Alentejo coast, as the site for what would become Festival Sudoeste.
