Festival de la Novilla in San Sebastian
The San Sebastian Heifer Festival, Festival de la Novilla, is the town's largest annual celebration, held every first Sunday during its January patron saint festivities. Now past its 40th edition, it centers on a decorated heifer paraded with flowers and floats, alongside Puerto Rican food and music.
Every January, San Sebastian, a mountain town in western Puerto Rico known locally as Pepino, holds its Fiestas Patronales de San Sebastian, the religious and cultural celebration honoring its patron saint.
