Doha Marathon in Doha Corniche

The Doha Marathon by Ooredoo is Qatar's largest annual road race, held each January along the Doha Corniche. A World Athletics Gold Label event, it draws tens of thousands of runners from more than a hundred nationalities across five categories, from a children's fun run to the full 42-kilometer marathon, starting and finishing near Hotel Park by the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort.

Doha's relationship with distance running is built on the Corniche, the several-kilometer curve of promenade that traces the bay in front of the city's skyline.
