Street Delivery Bucharest in Bucharest
Street Delivery closes Bucharest's Strada Arthur Verona to traffic for three days each September, turning it into a pedestrian stage for architecture, design, and public art. Initiated by the Order of Architects of Romania and Fundatia Carturesti, its 2025 edition marked the project's twentieth anniversary.
Street Delivery started from a provocative but simple architectural experiment: take one ordinary Bucharest street, remove the cars for a few days, and see what a city built for people instead of traffic might actually look like.
