Bucovina Rock Castle is a summer rock and metal music festival staged within the walls of the Suceava Fortress (Cetatea de Scaun a Sucevei), pairing Romanian and international rock and metal acts with the medieval stronghold's ramparts and courtyard as a stage backdrop.

Suceava Fortress, Cetatea de Scaun a Sucevei, was built and expanded across the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries as the seat of Moldavia's rulers, including Stephen the Great, and withstood sieges by Ottoman, Polish and Hungarian forces before eventually falling into ruin and later undergoing extensive restoration.
