Bylinny Bereg in Kimry
Bylinny Bereg is a historical reenactment and folk-rock festival founded near Kimry, Tver Oblast, in 2011 by Anton Zheryagin and Ivan Kulagin, themed around ninth to eleventh century Old Rus and Scandinavian culture. In May 2024, Tver Oblast authorities banned the festival from being held anywhere in the region, leaving its future venue and continuation uncertain.
In July 2010, reenactor Anton Zheryagin proposed an idea to Ivan Kulagin, head of the reenactment club Druzhina Eldjarn, that would become Bylinny Bereg, first held in 2011 near the town of Kimry in Tver Oblast.
