AlUla Tour in AlUla
The AlUla Tour is a multi-stage professional cycling race through northwestern Saudi Arabia's AlUla region, part of the international cycling calendar and the renamed continuation of the earlier Saudi Tour, drawing top sprinters and general classification riders each January for stages through desert and heritage landscapes.
The race now known as the AlUla Tour began under a different name, the Saudi Tour, before organizers rebranded it to center the event more directly on AlUla, the northwestern Saudi region whose dramatic sandstone canyons and ancient Nabataean ruins have become central to the kingdom's tourism and cultural strategy.
