The Saudi Cup is the world's richest horse race, run each February at King Abdulaziz Racetrack in Riyadh with a twenty million dollar purse. Launched in 2020, it anchors Saudi Cup Night, a card of eight thoroughbred races plus a Purebred Arabian race drawing top international horses, jockeys, and trainers.

When the Saudi Cup ran for the first time in February 2020, it did something few new sporting events manage: it immediately became the richest race in its sport.
