Crown Prince Camel Festival in Taif

The Crown Prince Camel Festival is an annual camel racing competition staged at Taif Camel Square, launched in 2018 by what is now the Ministry of Sport and organized today by the Saudi Camel Federation, featuring hundreds of races and tens of millions of riyals in prize money each edition.

Since its first edition in 2018, launched under what was then the General Sports Authority and is now the Ministry of Sport, the Crown Prince Camel Festival has grown from a new addition to Saudi Arabia's sporting calendar into one of the country's largest annual camel races.
