Taif Season in Taif
Taif Season is the mountain city of Taif's branded annual tourism program, part of the original 2019 Saudi Seasons wave. Built around Taif's cooler elevation, its famed Damask rose harvest, and long-standing camel festival tradition, the season blends agricultural, cultural, and entertainment programming through the warmer months.
Taif has served as a seasonal retreat for the Hijaz region for generations, its position roughly 1,800 to 2,000 meters up in the mountains east of Mecca giving it a climate cool enough that Ottoman-era and later Saudi elites historically relocated there during the hottest months.
