Festival Kreol on Mahe in Victoria

Festival Kreol, held each October since 1985, is Seychelles' flagship celebration of Kreol Seselwa language and culture, centered on Victoria and Mahe's beaches. Organized by the National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts and timed to Creole Language Week, it draws Creole-speaking delegations from Mauritius, Reunion and beyond alongside a week of markets, music, dance and language events across the capital.
