Chinatown Mid-Autumn Festival is Singapore's largest public Mid-Autumn celebration, run by the Chinatown Festival Committee across New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, Upper Cross Street, and South Bridge Road. The 2025 edition, themed 60 Glorious Years, ran from 7 September to 20 October with a light-up, festive fair, and cultural programming.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, sometimes called the Mooncake Festival, falls on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month and traces its roots back roughly 2,000 years to Song Dynasty traditions of moon worship, layered over centuries with the folklore of the Moon Goddess Chang'e, whose story of sacrifice and separation from her husband, the archer Hou Yi, remains the festival's most widely told legend.
