The story

ZoukOut in Sentosa

ZoukOut is Singapore's flagship overnight dance music festival, held annually since 2001 on Siloso Beach, Sentosa, and organized by nightclub group Zouk Singapore. One of Asia's largest electronic dance festivals, it has hosted headliners including David Guetta, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, and Alesso across its all-night beachfront format.

ZoukOut began in 2001 when Zouk, the Singapore nightclub that had already built a serious international reputation within Asia's electronic dance music scene, decided to take its all-night format outdoors, launching an overnight dance festival on Siloso Beach at Sentosa, the resort island just off Singapore's southern coast.

What is special

The part that makes it specific.

01

The place changes

ZoukOut's defining feature is its beachfront, all-night format, running from evening until sunrise on Siloso Beach rather than a conventional daytime schedule, a structure that has held since the first edition in 2001

02

The mystery stays covered

Its 10th anniversary edition in December 2010 drew a record 28,000 party-goers for headline sets from David Guetta, Tiesto, and Jazzy Jeff, a milestone that pushed organizers to expand to a two-day format from 2012 onward

03

The city starts moving

The festival's history has not been without disruption, including a self-imposed hiatus in 2019 and a full pandemic shutdown from 2020 to 2021, followed by a comeback that has kept drawing major international DJs including Martin Garrix, Alesso, FISHER, and Illenium, cementing its status as one of Asia's most significant recurring dance music events
