The story

Biela noc Košice in Košice

Biela noc Kosice, meaning White Night, is Slovakia's original White Night festival, first held on October 2, 2010, making Kosice the first Slovak city to host the international Nuit Blanche format. Founded by architect's daughter Zuzana Pacak, the October event opens museums and galleries and fills the historic center with free, night-long art and light installations.

On October 2, 2010, Kosice became the first city in Slovakia to hold a White Night festival, several years before other Slovak cities adopted the format.
