The Prešov Christmas Market fills the city's Main Street with roughly seventy stalls of handmade wares, Christmas goods, festive food and drink from late November through the New Year, pausing briefly around Christmas Day itself before reopening again for St Stephen's Day straight through New Year's Eve.

Every year as November closes, the centre of Prešov undergoes its most reliable seasonal transformation: Main Street fills with close to seventy wooden stalls selling handmade Christmas decorations, regional crafts, mulled wine and festive food, run largely by local Šariš-region makers and vendors rather than generic market-stall operators.
