Okarina Festival Bled in Bled
The Okarina Festival was Slovenia's largest world music festival, held in Bled since 1991 at venues including Bled Castle and the lakeside promenade. It showcased traditional and hybrid folk genres from flamenco and qawwali to Irish folk and blues, though its current operating status beyond the early 2020s is unclear.
For nearly three decades, the Okarina Festival built a reputation as Slovenia's leading platform for world and folk music, taking its name from the ocarina, an ancient wind instrument found across many cultures.
