Ljubljana Winter Festival in Ljubljana

The Ljubljana Winter Festival is Festival Ljubljana's annual winter concert series, launched in 2017 with a performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra from London. Its ninth edition in 2026 runs from 10 February to 2 March, featuring symphonic concerts, chamber music, and recitals, alongside the International Piano Competition Festival Ljubljana - Piano, which brings together thirty young pianists from nineteen countries.

The Ljubljana Winter Festival was created by Festival Ljubljana, the organisation behind the city's much older summer arts festival dating to 1953, as a way to extend serious classical music programming into the calendar's quieter winter months.
