Icheon Ceramic Festival in Icheon
Korea's largest ceramics festival, held each spring at Icheon Ceramic Village since 1987. Hundreds of potters sell celadon, white porcelain, and buncheong ware directly from their studios alongside throwing demonstrations, kiln tours, and hands-on wheel sessions for visitors of every skill level, from first-timers to serious collectors hunting for a bargain.
Icheon has worked clay for centuries, and by the Joseon era its kilns were producing wares for the royal court, a lineage the city still leans on to bill itself as Korea's ceramic capital.
