Jeju Olle Walking Festival in Jeju Island
Each autumn, hikers set out along three selected routes of the Jeju Olle Trail's coastal and mountain network, walking one section per day through fishing villages, volcanic cones, and citrus groves. Villagers along the way offer rest stops with local snacks, and evenings close with communal meals and folk performances. The festival draws walkers from across Korea and abroad who return year after year for different stretches of trail.
The Jeju Olle Walking Festival grew out of the Jeju Olle Trail, a network of paths that now stretches more than 400 kilometers around the coastline and highlands of Jeju Island.
