Seoul Winter Festa in Seoul

A month-long winter light festival spanning six downtown Seoul sites, Gwanghwamun Square, Cheonggyecheon stream, Seoul Plaza, DDP, Bosingak and Uicheon Stream, combining a European-style Christmas market, projected media art and illuminated lantern displays. Running from mid-December into early January, it consolidates several previously separate lantern and light festivals into one citywide holiday program.

Six landmarks across downtown Seoul light up in tandem each winter as the Seoul Winter Festa strings together Gwanghwamun Square, Cheonggyecheon stream, Seoul Plaza, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Bosingak and Uicheon Stream into one sprawling, city-run holiday season.
