Gotland Runt in Sandhamn/Gotland
Gotland Runt, known commercially as the Round Gotland Race or AF Offshore Race, is an offshore sailing race in the Baltic Sea organized by the Royal Swedish Yacht Club. First held in 1937, the two-day race starts and finishes at Sandhamn in the Stockholm archipelago at the turn of June into July.
In 1937, the Royal Swedish Yacht Club organized the first Gotland Runt, an offshore race around the island of Gotland starting and finishing at Sandhamn, the small archipelago settlement that has served as one of the club's key harbors for well over a century.
