OpenAir St. Gallen in St. Gallen
OpenAir St. Gallen turns a wooded ravine called the Sittertobel, on the edge of the city, into a four-day music festival every summer, with a lineup that spans pop, hip-hop, electronic and rock. Steep tree-lined slopes form a natural amphitheater around the stages, and camping spreads along the gorge's edges. Running unbroken since 1977, it is one of Switzerland's longest-running open-airs, close enough to Lake Constance to draw visitors from Germany and Austria too.
