Montreux Noel stretches well over a hundred wooden chalets along the Lake Geneva promenade from late November through December, mixing mulled wine, raclette, handicrafts and gifts with mountain views across the water. An illuminated tree, an ice rink and evening choir performances add structure to what is mostly a walk-and-graze market. Weekend evenings near Christmas draw the largest crowds; weekday daytimes are calmer and better for families.
