Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village Cherry Blossom Festival in Yuchi
Held at the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village theme park in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, near Sun Moon Lake, this festival centers on cherry blossom viewing across the park's grounds each winter into early spring, combined with the park's regular Indigenous cultural performances and, on some evenings, illuminated night viewing.
On a hillside above Sun Moon Lake, the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village combines two things that do not always appear together: a theme park dedicated to showcasing Taiwan's Indigenous Austronesian peoples, and, each winter into early spring, fields of blooming cherry trees across its landscaped grounds.
