Kamaka in Bafilo/Assoli
Kamaka is the traditional festival of the Tem people of Assoli prefecture, celebrated each mid-to-late December in Bafilo, about 48 kilometers north of Sokode in central Togo. Recent editions include the 2023, 2024 and 2025 celebrations, held December 16, 21 and 20 respectively, each drawing large local crowds.
