Tingban-Pab in Dapaong/Cinkasse/Kpendjal
Tingban Paab, also spelled Tingban-Pab, is the traditional harvest festival of the Moba-Gourma peoples of Togo's Grand Tone area, spanning Tone, Tandjouare, Cinkasse, Kpendjal and Kpendjal-Ouest prefectures, celebrated in Dapaong. It returned in 2025 after a six-year suspension, with its edition held December 6 to 13, culminating December 13.
Tingban Paab, sometimes written Tingban-Pab or Tingba Paab, is the traditional harvest festival of the Moba-Gourma peoples inhabiting Togo's Grand Tone area, a designation covering five prefectures in the far north of the country: Tone, Tandjouare, Cinkasse, Kpendjal and Kpendjal-Ouest, all administered around the regional center of Dapaong in Togo's Savanes region near the border with Burkina Faso.
