Ayder Culture Art and Nature Festival in Çamlıhemşin/Ayder
The Ayder Culture Art and Nature Festival is held on Ayder plateau in Camlihemsin district, Rize province, Turkey's best-known highland tourist destination. It celebrates the plateau's Hemshin heritage, thermal spring, and alpine scenery with a program built around folk dance, music, and locally grown produce.
Ayder plateau rises above the Firtina valley in Camlihemsin, a district shaped by the Hemshin people, an eastern Black Sea community with its own dialect and dance traditions distinct from neighboring Laz villages.
