Empango is the annual coronation anniversary of the Omukama (king) of Tooro Kingdom, celebrated at the Karuzika Royal Palace in Fort Portal. The 2025 edition marked the 30th anniversary of King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV's 1995 coronation, held September 10-13 under the theme Ekyooto Ha Mpango, with traditional rituals, cultural performances, and tourism showcases.
