What is special

The part that makes it specific.

01

The place changes

The festival's format is a friendly regional competition as much as a celebration: exhibitors are judged and awarded titles such as best regional exhibitor, best cultural exhibitor, and best international exhibitor, with clusters like Busoga and Karamoja alternating top honors in different years, and communities recreating traditional homesteads, such as a full Basoga hut setup, to immerse visitors in their way of life

02

The mystery stays covered

Programming pairs entertainment with substance: alongside food stalls representing Uganda's regions and craft demonstrations like backcloth-making and iron smelting, organizers run panel discussions on using culture for conservation, peacebuilding, and family values, drawing delegates from neighboring countries including Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and DR Congo
