Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon in Kasese

The Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon is Uganda's only World Athletics Label Road Race, starting on the Equator inside Queen Elizabeth National Park and finishing near Kasese beneath the Rwenzori Mountains. Organized by Magnificent 7 Wonders Uganda and title-sponsored by the Tusker Lite beer brand, it also serves as an official qualifier race for South Africa's Comrades Marathon.

The Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon occupies a distinctive place on Africa's running calendar: it is Uganda's only World Athletics Label Road Race, one of just three such labeled races in all of East Africa, and it is staged in one of the most visually striking settings a marathon can offer.
