Cherkasy Jazz Days in Cherkasy
Cherkasy Jazz Days is a long-running international jazz festival founded in 1988 by saxophonist and honored Crimean artist Serhiy Krasheninnikov, held most often in late winter or early spring at the Druzhba Narodiv Palace of Culture in Cherkasy, a mid-sized city on the Dnipro River in central Ukraine.
Cherkasy Jazz Days is a traditional international jazz festival founded in 1988 and led ever since by Serhiy Krasheninnikov, an honored artist of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the festival's chief organizer and driving musical force through his own Cherkasy Jazz Quintet.
