Ukrainian Song Project in Lviv
Ukrainska Pisnya / Ukrainian Song Project is a televised music festival-concert that debuted in Lviv in 2016 to launch new Ukrainian performers alongside established stars, usually staged around Ukraine's Independence Day in late August. During Russia's full-scale invasion it relocated abroad once for safety, later returning to Lviv for its tenth-anniversary edition in 2025.
In August 2016, at the Ukraina Sports Palace in Lviv, a new televised concert format called Ukrainska Pisnya, Ukrainian Song, put twenty young performers, chosen from 500 applicants, on stage in front of 2,900 spectators alongside established acts like Antytila and The VYO.
