Lemko Vatra Monastyryska in Monastyryska
Dzvony Lemkivshchyny, meaning Bells of Lemkivshchyna, is an all-Ukrainian festival of Lemko culture held the first Saturday and Sunday of August in the Bychova tract near Monastyryska in Ternopil Oblast, tracing its roots directly to the original Lemkivska Vatra festival launched in the village of Hutysko in 1999.
The festival now known as Dzvony Lemkivshchyny, or Bells of Lemkivshchyna, began under the name Lemkivska Vatra, held first on June 5 and 6, 1999, in the village of Hutysko in Berezhany district, Ternopil Oblast, before relocating to its current home in the Bychova tract near the town of Monastyryska, where it has been staged every first weekend of August since.
