Lemko Vatra in Monastyryska

Dzvony Lemkivshchyny (Bells of Lemkivshchyna), known in its first two editions as Lemkivska Vatra, is an all-Ukrainian traditional festival of Lemko culture held annually since 1999 on the first Saturday and Sunday of August in the Bychova tract near Monastyryska, Ternopil oblast, organized by the Association of Lemkos.

In June 1999, in the village of Hutysko in Berezhany district, Ternopil oblast, a festival called Lemkivska Vatra brought together around 3,000 people and 40 artistic ensembles and solo performers from across Halychyna and Kyiv.
