Dubai Run in Dubai
Dubai Run is the signature road race of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the citywide 30x30 initiative launched in 2017, closing the fourteen-lane Sheikh Zayed Road to traffic for several hours so participants can run five- or ten-kilometre routes along the motorway, coordinated with extensive RTA road closures and extended public transport service, drawing runners of all fitness levels rather than elite competitors alone.
Dubai Run is the signature mass-participation road race of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, the citywide 30x30 initiative launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, to encourage residents toward at least 30 minutes of exercise across 30 consecutive days.
