Sharjah Fringe Festival in Sharjah
Sharjah Fringe Festival, billed as the first fringe festival in the Middle East, runs roughly 600 street performances across eight pitches connecting Al Noor Island, Al Majaz Waterfront and Al Qasba each February, featuring more than 60 artists from the UAE and worldwide presenting street and circus acts, theatre, dance and music from mid-afternoon until eleven at night.
Roughly 600 street performances run across eight separate pitches along the walkway connecting Al Noor Island, Al Majaz and Al Qasba, a density that has made Sharjah Fringe Festival the largest artistic entertainment event of its kind in the emirate.
