Belfast TradFest in Belfast
Belfast TradFest is an annual traditional-music festival held across Belfast, a UNESCO City of Music, running July 26 to August 2 in its 2026, eighth edition. The programme spans roughly 600 events, including concerts, a traditional-music summer school, session trails through the city's pubs and venues, outdoor performances and workshops. Featured artists for 2026 include Solas, Flook and Cherish the Ladies, and the festival runs directly into Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, which follows in Belfast August 2-9.
Each summer, Belfast turns into a working traditional-music city for more than a week, first through Belfast TradFest, running from late July into early August, then directly into Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann, which follows immediately after.
