Moseley Folk Festival in Birmingham
An independent folk and arts festival held at Moseley Park in Birmingham each late summer since its founding in 2006. Renamed Moseley Folk and Arts Festival in 2019 to reflect an expanded comedy and spoken word programme, it has grown from a two-day event into a three-day festival now well into its second decade.
Moseley Folk Festival began in 2006 as a two-day event held at Moseley Park in the Birmingham suburb of Moseley, on a site that had previously hosted an outdoor gypsy jazz event called L'Esprit Manouche, co-founded by Gerv Havill among others.
