Creamfields in Daresbury
The UK's largest dedicated electronic dance music festival, held on the Daresbury Estate in Cheshire each August since 2006. Grown directly out of Cream, the Liverpool nightclub founded in 1992, it has expanded from a one-day, 25,000-person event in 1998 to a four-day camping festival hosting around seventy thousand daily.
Creamfields grew directly out of Cream, the Liverpool nightclub founded in 1992 by James Barton, Andy Carroll and Darren Hughes that began as a weekly house music night at Nation, a venue in Wolstenholme Square since demolished.
