Love Supreme Jazz Festival in Glynde Place
Billed as Europe's first major greenfield jazz event, Love Supreme Jazz Festival has run each July since its 2013 launch at Glynde Place in the East Sussex South Downs. Founded by Ciro Romano to combine the ethos of European jazz institutions like Montreux with UK camping festival culture, it spans jazz, funk, soul, blues and hip-hop across three days.
Love Supreme Jazz Festival launched its inaugural edition from 5 to 7 July 2013 at Glynde Place, a historic estate in the rural South Downs of East Sussex, billed by organisers as Europe's first major greenfield jazz event, meaning a full camping festival built around jazz rather than a jazz programme added to an existing multi-genre festival or confined to indoor concert venues.
